Earth Day Salton Sea, Desert Shores

The EcoMedia Compass hosted a grand event celebrating the Earth and Salton Sea restoration.

Hundreds of residents and Salton Sea Visitors turned out to celebrate the Salton Sea & the Desert Shores restoration project. Scientists, and community leaders shared vision while great music, sponsored by Planet LA Records kept the day moving to the worldly soundtrack of restoration.

Over $2,000 dollars were raised towards the investment of supplies for construction that will go towards the Pump-Boat Poseidon, hoses to move water and closing costs on the land at the end of Capri in Desert Shores, needed to build the berm.
